Meeting with representatives of the Australian Embassy and Permanent Mission to the UN in Vienna

Bratislava, December 6, 2022. Dr. Marek Sobola met with Ms Brittany Clarke, First Secretary and the Embassy lead on Public Diplomacy and Ms Nada Muster, Policy Officer from the Australian Embassy and Permanent Mission to the United Nations in Vienna. Secretary-General of Servare et Manere presented not only the activities of this association, but especially the recent expedition of the NGO around the world with a special focus on the Oceania region.

The journey mapped the stay and scientific work of General Milan Rastislav Štefánik in this area. During the expedition, another continent – Australia – was added to the World Map of Peace. The Tree of Peace was planted in the area of the Saint Ignatius’ College Riverview, near the small observatory from which Štefánik observed the Southern hemisphere sky. The discussion opened up several topics, among other things, mutual interest in future cooperation between Servare et Manere and the Australian Embassy and Permanent Mission to the United Nations to Austria.
