Nicosia, August 28, 2025. The author of the “Tree of Peace” project, Mr Marek Sobola, accompanied by the Ambassador of the Slovak Republic to Cyprus, His Excellency Mr Martin Bezák, visited the 35th Tree of Peace in Nicosia. The olive tree was planted in May last year in the United Nations Buffer Zone near the Ledra Palace Hotel, on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the good services of Slovak diplomacy in Cyprus.
