Bratislava, January 17, 2023. His Excellency Mons. Nicola Girasoli, Apostolic Nuncio to Slovakia, today received the ​Servare et Manere Secretary-General at the Apostolic Nunciature in Bratislava. During a friendly and cordial conversation, Marek Sobola informed the Pope’s Ambassador to Slovakia not only about the activities of Servare et Manere and the ambitions of the international Tree of Peace initiative, but also about his own ecclesiastical heraldic work. Marek Sobola mainly deals with institutional and personal ecclesiastical heraldry, especially in the area of Oceania and Asia. He created the coats of arms of many ecclesiastical provinces of Roman Catholic Missions in the Pacific Ocean with special emphasis on Papua New Guinea. The meeting also opened opportunities for mutual cooperation in the near future.
