Bratislava, July 29, 2025. The Secretary-General of Servare et Manere was received at the Turkish Embassy in Bratislava by His Excellency, Mr. Erkan Özoral, Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye. In a very friendly atmosphere, dr. Marek Sobola presented the goals and work of the NGO Servare et Manere, as well as his family story behind the establishment of the international Tree of Peace initiative. The discussion revealed that the family of the Ambassador’s wife also has similar historical fates connected with the First World War. Ambassador Özoral therefore expressed great interest in the project and promised administrative assistance in organizing the planting of the Tree of Peace in the Republic of Türkiye in 2026.
